IMPORTANT NOTICE
 

On August 4, 2009, our colleague Dr. Nancy Conley began the first day of our Summer Session III program with eight participants and one apprentice for the 9 Juliet program. We know very little about what occurred after this. Sometime on the morning of August 5, 2009, Nancy and her student apprentice Dawn Cholodenko were spotted with the eight female participants, ages 14 to 18 (Justine Paulsen, Natalie Toozoff, Margot Parrado, Madison Ryan, Claire Manson, Ashley DeLorraine, Holly Phelps, Remi Landsberg) at the private marina where Nancy's houseboat was moored near Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. They have not been seen since.

A task force has been formed to handle the case, and anyone with information is asked to contact them at (818) 789-3760. Everyone in the 9 Juliet family is praying for their safe return. Our sympathies are with their families at this difficult time.

We wish to assure all parents that the 9 Juliet program will continue to operate, as we know Nancy would want the program to continue. In the three years the program has run, we have prided ourselves on providing a safe and enriching experience for everyone involved. We appreciate that some may have apprehensions about the safety of the program, but we assure you that this tragic circumstance was beyond our control.

We hope you will still place your faith in this program.

As Nancy's houseboat is also missing, we have shifted our programs to the Shasta Lake, California area with Dr. Shepard until we can secure a new houseboat and mooring in Northern Idaho. Our newest team member, Dr. Sunar will be starting our boys program at Lake Chelan in Washington state this coming spring.
